Summer (July 4 - July 8)

Chloe loves pancakes.  She also loves to add food coloring and sprinkles to her pancakes.  These are a combination of blue, red and then green.  I could barely look at them.  

My parents gave this music box to me when I was in 10th grade.  I gave it to Chloe .  She loved it but decided that it needed to be cleaned.

Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa is a favorite book series.

Braylynn came over today after swim lessons.  We went to the park.  The girls found some friends and a pile dirt to dig in.

They had a lot of fun un Chloe's room.

We had a nest of birds just above one of the garage doors.  By the end of the day they were flying.

We decided to make cupcakes for Betty and Dave on Tuesday.  Chloe did all the work.

Our project was a bumblebee.

After the project we went on a nature walk.  We couldn't believe that we couldn't find an ant.

Tuesday is horse back riding lessons.  I went with this time.  She sure loves to ride the horse.

On Wednesday, we finished the Judy Moody book.  It's all about how to be a spy.  Chloe wants to be a spy.

Wednesday started her next Zoo camp.  This on is called Move it.

It was terrible hot at the zoo.  She made a fish that shows how they move.

When I dropped her off I saw Sophie.  My how she has grown.

Thursday our project was a crown.

At zoo camp they learned about bats.

Friday she made a panda for her project.

She's been telling papa that he needed to have a haircut all week.  Friday we did it.

After zoo camp we found a peacock resting right where I was sitting and waiting for her.

Summer 2014 (July 28 - Aug 1)

Started this week off with another round of swimming lessons.  Chloe passed into the next level.  She is really swimming now.

On Sophia came on Monday and spent the day.

  We went to the zoo.

There is a zoo program at 12:00.  The girls were chosen to be part of it.

We went to the aquarium to see and touch the starfish.  There is something killing the star fish in the water of the  sound so they were being treated.  And studied by the scientists to see if they can fix them.

The Merry-go-round is always one of the favorite activities.

Tuesday Allie came to spend the day.  She walked in and they started playing right away.  I only saw them for food.

Chloe got a new helmet and boots for her horse back riding lessons.  She is waiting for her mom to pick her up.

That tooth is still there and just hanging on.  Papa has requested that the tooth ferry get that tooth out.

Thursday Tino was back.

We went to the water park.  Most of the time they were pretending to ride their horses.  But they did break and have some fun in the water.

 Friday was a Chloe and Mama day.  It was Chloe's 6 1/2 birthday.  They went to swimming lessons, bought the school uniforms the the next year and the also bought the free Friday dress outfit.  Chloe told her mama that she only wanted dresses and skirts.  No jeans or pants.  Then they went to lunch and had pedicures.  Of course there were cupcakes at supper time.
