Second week of Summer vacation

Sunday night preparations for Chloe and Khloe.  They are making caterpillars.

We are going to do some bubble playing.

Chloe's 2nd week of swimming lessons.  It's amazing how far she has come in just a week.

The Barbie purse that she colored and decorated.  After Easter sales get you some great bargains.

We visited a new playground.  It is the Garfield playground.

Tuesday afternoon we went to the bouncy place.  Chloe found a little girl to play with.

Tino was over.  This is the fish that Chloe produced.

Wednesday when Chloe came she spent some time trying to get Belle to be her friend.  It required treats.  It must be working.  On Friday Belle let her carry her around for a little while.

Chloe made French Toast for breakfast.

After breakfast we played a game with the words that We have been working on.  Chloe won.

On Wednesday, Lily came over to play after swimming.  We went to a library program on mermaids.  They each made a mermaid.

When we got home they made a fort and decorated the inside with sea shells and had their own mermaid home under the sea.  They  played there happily for 2 hours.

After swimming, Thursday was our grocery shopping day.  We did our Costco and target run. Of course we had hot dogs for lunch.  After lunch we went to the Magicians show at the Swasey library.  He was great.

I took Chloe home and got to see baby kitty Sophie.  She is a sweetie.

Friday was the last swimming day for this session.  A new session starts on Monday.

After lunch on Friday we went to the library program Tinkertopia.  Chloe chose to make a scratching post and play toy for Sophie.

When the library program was done I thought it was time we go to the park.

First Week of Summer vacation (June 16 - 19)

I presented Chloe with her cooking apron.

We immediately put it to good use making her Monday morning pancakes.

We started swimming lessons.  Her teacher was a "boy".  But she told me that her mama said that was okay.

She really got into swimming right away.  She was a little hesitant a couple of times but he talked her into trying everything.

 After swimming lessons gramma has to have a short rest and Chloe works on the computer.

This is the first of the books that she read by herself for the Summer Reading Program.  We love Max books.  We are reading Junie B. Jones together.

On Tuesday Khloe with a "K" came over to play.  They got into the whole princess thing right away.

Chloe and Khloe made use of the pink and purple Tinkertoy set.

Chloe and Klhoe made lei necklaces and after Khloe left Chloe finished her button tree.

Khloe was missed so the next day Chloe made a book for her.

 A fun activity on Wednesday was organizing papa's change cup.

After Swimming lessons on Wednesday we went to the sound.  First we walked. Chloe rode her scooter. Then we enjoyed the beach and sand.  We were on our way for a Starbucks break when Chloe had a scooter accident.  When her leg felt better we continued to Starbucks for coffee and hot chocolate.

We had to do some first aid for her sore leg when we got home.

Lily came over on Thursday for a trip to the zoo with us.

It was a fun and exciting time.

Friday was a Mama,  Chloe, and Daddy day.  Baby kitty Sophie was picked up that day.
